Farmers markets begin seasonal runs this month at 2 lifestyle-shopping centers - cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Farmers' market season kicks off this month at a pair of lifestyle-shopping centers on the east side.

The non-profit North Union Farmers Market - with fresh produce, dairy, meat, baked goods, honey and syrup and assorted merchandise - begins its seasonal run at Pinecrest development in Orange Village on Saturdays beginning June 8. It will run through Aug. 10.

The market will be located between REI outdoor clothing store and West Elm furniture and décor store. Pinecrest is at the northeast corner of Interstate 271 and Harvard Road.

A week later the market will start its stay at Legacy Village on Sundays from June 16 through Sept. 29 in the Capital Grille lot. Legacy Village is at the northwest corner of Cedar and Richmond roads in Lyndhurst.

Both markets will be open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Markets in Crocker Park in Westlake and Shaker Square started in April.
