The Ronto Group’s completed 26-floor, 120-unit Seaglass high-rise tower continues to captivate luxury homebuyers intent on living a maintenance-free, full amenitized lifestyle in the award-winning Bonita Bay community. Ronto has now processed closed sales worth $152 million and an additional $12 million in pending sales. Six floors within the luxurious tower have just one residence left, including floors six, eleven, fifteen, twenty, twenty-one, and twenty-two. Pricing ranges from $1,425,000 to $2,055,000. The three Seaglass open-concept tower residence floor plans that range from 2,889 to 3,421 square feet under air, common areas with a more contemporary, on-trend look and feeling, a comprehensive array of amenities, and various membership opportunities that offer access to the Bonita Bay Club’s award-winning lifestyle have combined to redefine the high-rise living experience.
Purchasers who have moved into their new residences at Seaglass are enjoying their new lifestyle at Bonita Bay. Brett Melrose is a business owner from Lexington. Kentucky. He and his wife Tami purchased a Seaglass residence on the eighth floor that features the 3,088 square feet under air 03-tower residence floor plan. They moved into their new Seaglass residence the week after last Thanksgiving.
“We owned a condominium in another high-rise community since 2010,” said Brett. “We looked at several alternatives and we liked what we saw at Seaglass. It has the entire package. It’s brand new, the residents are new and eager to make new friends, we love the amenities that are available through the Bonita Bay Club, and the 03-floor plan gave us the space we wanted. We wanted something that had three bedrooms, but I also wanted a den. Having that den is great for working with the businesses I’m still involved with. I have an office in there, and I also have a television, so it’s a place I can go if there’s something going on in the great room. All the bedrooms are so big and it’s just an incredible place to share with family and friends. We love that there is a gas grill on one of the terraces. The views are the best. We enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun go down every evening. It’s hard to beat.”
In addition to the size of the residence and the spectacular views, Brett and Tami appreciated that Ronto provided a fully completed residence with a high level of finish.
“I was very pleased because most of the high-rises built in the past have always been just decorator ready,” he said. “You had to come in and finish it yourself. We were very happy with the flooring. We upgraded a few things, but we didn’t go crazy. We were very happy with how it turned out. It’s very bright, it’s very airy. We love that it has Thermadore appliances in the kitchen.”
“The whole aesthetic of the building is beautiful. The marble floors, the chandeliers, the furniture, all of those things are amazing,” said Brett. “I was actually downstairs yesterday when they had 60 or 70 people coming in for an open house and I was listening to what people had to say when they came through the doors. They were just like, man, this place is beautiful. It’s the newest high-rise building built in Bonita Bay in the last 12 years here, and it just has that fresh, bright, airy, open feeling to it. That’s incredible. We share an amenity area with another building over there. I was in the hot tub on Saturday after I played tennis, and it was absolutely beautiful. I’ve used the social room at least a dozen times with different meetings that I’ve had to have. All of that is really nice.”
In addition to the on-site amenities available at Seaglass, residents have a variety of membership opportunities that allow them to take full advantage of the Bonita Bay Club’s amenities. One of the ten healthiest clubs in America, Bonita Bay’s amenities range from a 60,000 square-foot Lifestyle Center, to five championship golf courses, tennis facilities, a full-service marina, numerous dining venues, a residents only private beach park, a network of on-property hiking and biking trails, and an aquatic center.
“It’s unbelievable,” said Brett. “It’s exciting. There are always people enjoying what the Club offers. That’s the reason we wanted to leave our previous community. There was nobody there. It was dying. You can go to the different Bonita Bay Club facilities on any night of the week and there’s activity. It’s alive. That’s a big thing for us. We want to have people that are enjoying their lives, they’re enjoying their retirement, and they’re fellowshipping with each other. I love playing golf. When we were looking for a new place, we came to Bonita Bay and did the preview membership at the Club. The first day I played golf, I told Tami to go pick out something. We got a realtor and looked at everything in Bonita Bay. We looked at houses, we looked at four-plexes, we looked at coach houses. By the time we bought something like that and rehabbed it, it was going to be more money than buying in Seaglass. We could get something that was brand new and have all these new friends moving in at the same time. That made it worth it to both of us.”
Brett and Tami are equally impressed by the caliber of their new neighbors.
“I’m on the Seaglass board now, and it is a diverse group,” said Brett. “I played golf with a resident I had not met yet from Columbus, Ohio, and we just had the best time. It’s easy to make those kinds of connections here. It’s given my wife a sense of how great it is to meet new people. It’s been great. Tami loves going to the sommelier classes at the Club. She’s had a great time meeting people through that. This place is pretty special. The building manager, Shannon Dye, has been amazing. We’ve had probably 6,000 vendors through here in the past two months and there has not been a single glitch. It is very professionally managed. I think that is a big deal when people are looking at places like this and we’re completely funded on our reserves.”
Ronto is also accepting purchase agreements for residences in Omega, the final high-rise to be built at Bonita Bay. Ronto’s Orange Blossom Naples community in North Naples offers a resort lifestyle and single-family and townhome residences by Lennar Corporation and Pulte Homes priced from the $200,000’s. Ronto is developing the TwinEagles gated golf course community in North Naples. Just 20 purchase opportunities remain available. Ronto is accepting reservations for residences at Quattro, the fourth phase at Naples Square located at 5th Avenue South and Goodlette-Frank Road. Ronto is also accepting purchase agreements at Eleven Eleven Central, a walkable, bikeable community under construction on Central Avenue between 10th Street and Goodlette Frank Road in downtown Naples.
