From cake sales to car washing, gardening or just being helpful in your community - hundreds of you took part every year

Thousands of you enjoyed reminiscing about taking part in the annual Operation Lifestyle project.

So we've had another delve into the archives at Grimsby Telegraph and picked out another selection of photographs of you doing your bit for the local area.

Whether it was cake sales, car washing, gardening or just being helpful in your community - hundreds of you took part every year.

Our photographs span the years 1991 to 1996.

First launched in 1989 by Humberside Police, many will have known it as 'Operation Lifestyle' before it shortened in name to 'Lifestyle'.

To date over 164,000 young people have taken part in Lifestyle since it began, which equates to over 25,000 teams.
