Town Square pergola refresh underway

Crews are replacing rotting wood, repainting and power washing the pergolas in Town Square near the bocce courts.

Working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bocce courts will remain open during this time.

Please remain out of the working areas and keep clear of crews. Any unauthorized persons inside a work zone pose a safety threat to themselves and the workers. A map of the working areas is available at www.SunCityHiltonHead.org.

RV lot users invited to RFID application event

Residents with a vehicle in the boat and RV lot are invited to an RFID application event from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 29 at the RV lot.

Materials needed for RFID application include your original RV registration, driver’s license, insurance card and current activity card.

RFID tags will only be applied at the RV lot. Please do not bring RVs to Palmetto Commons.

There will be makeup dates announced at a later time for those who cannot attend this event.

Parking at the Lakehouse

Pulte’s parking lot expansion at the Lakehouse is complete; please park in the new parking section instead of on Sgt. William Jasper Boulevard.

Lakehouse outdoor pool renovation begins in March

Work continues on refurbishing the Lakehouse indoor pool, with an estimated completion of mid-March.

Once work is complete on the indoor pool, work will begin on the Lakehouse outdoor pool. Work will include replastering the pool and spa, repairing and refinishing the deck, replacing racing lanes, adding new tile, repainting the deck and adding new furniture.

The outdoor pool is expected to be closed for three months, but residents are reminded that construction timelines are subject to change because of various unforeseeable circumstances.
