Local Meteorologist to Offer Forecast on Climate Change - Noozhawk

A free presentation about climate change, hosted by the Santa Maria Public Library and the Santa Maria Branch of American Association of University Women, will be held 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in Shepard Hall at the Santa Maria Public Library, 421 S. McClelland St.

Guest speaker will be John Lindsey, a local meteorologist and media relations representative for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. He will discuss climate change, unpredictable disasters, and what can be done to prepare for weather events.
