Historical Program: 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Tabernacle M.B. Church. The Rev. Philip Brown will present a program of area churches, and those that helped to establish some gospel and traditional backgrounds, such as the True Gospel Singers and the St. Augustine Choir Guile. The event is open to the public. Rev. Richard A. Madison, senior pastor.

Christmas Musical: 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, Berea SDA Church, 151 Martin Luther King Ave., St. Augustine. The Berea Choir and others will perform the second annual Christmas musical. This year’s theme is “Emmanuel! Savior of the World.”

Award-Winning Songwriter: 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2487 A1A S. Ellen Bukstel will present “Peaceful Activist: Legacy of Love.” She has won multiple nationally acclaimed songwriting competitions including: Hollywood Music Awards; Music to Life; Breaking the Silence in Song; Wildflower Music & Arts song competitions; and New Zealand’s PEACE song competition. She was a finalist in the John Lennon Song Competition.

Annual Interfaith Meditation: 3 p.m. Jan. 1, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of St. Augustine, 2487 A1A S. The St. Augustine Interfaith Community (SAIC) will host the third annual event, “The Stillness,” which is open to the public. Followers of many different faith traditions — and of no tradition — gather for group meditation. Each participant enters “The Stillness” according to personal beliefs and practice. The silence extends for 30 minutes, followed by soft music. The event ends with a reception and light refreshments. For information contact, connect@StAugustineInterfaith.org.

Annual Card Party: 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Hammock Dunes Club, 30 Avenue Royale, Palm Coast. Temple Bet Yam of St. Augustine will host its annual card party, which will include mahjong, bridge, rummy cube, canasta and more. Enjoy coffee and pastries followed by a buffet luncheon at noon.
